The International Salt Alliance (ISA) is a new industrial initiative which aims to foster innovation, sustainability and global collaboration across the salt value chain.
Mission:
- To unite salt producers globally to foster innovation, sustainability, and collaboration across the entire value chain.
- To be the voice of the salt producers globally
Vision:
- To establish an "agile" global salt network that supports producers in addressing challenges
- To leverage opportunities through exchanges of best practices and joint advocacy
The International Salt Alliance organises bi-monthly webinars to learn and exchange with industry peers around the following topics:
- Sharing Knowledge and Best Practices: Collaborating internationally can lead to sharing technologies, production methods and market strategies
- Sustainability: Encouraging sustainable salt production and mining practices, with a focus on environmental conservation
- Safety at production: Safety processes and information on safety standards benefitting companies worldwide
- Addressing Challenges: Tackling common problems such as energy efficiency, regulatory compliance, and health concerns
